Tournemire at Westminster Cathedral

2019 marks 80 years since the death of Charles Tournemire, one of the foremost French organists and composers for the instrument of his generation. Over the coming year, the organists of Westminster Cathedral will be working their way through Tournemire's magnum opus, L'Orgue mystique, a collection of liturgical organ music covering the entire Church year. All 51 of the postludes, or sorties, from the 51 offices that Tournemire wrote will be performed at various masses throughout the year, with other smaller movements being performed where suitable at the same mass.

To find out when these pieces will be performed, please see Tournemire at Westminster Cathedral.
